*January 11:   BSDC Meeting at Good Hope Lutheran Church in Arlington, OH (2:00pm - 4:00p.m.)

It is located on State Route 68 near the school on the south side of town.


*February 8.   BSDC  Meeting 2:00 - 4:00 : at Good Hope Lutheran Church in Arlington,  Bob Burrows will be our guest speaker and tell us about Ohio's new CDE (July 24,25,26). http://www.carriagesinthepark.com/     Come and learn more about this beginner friendly event.

February 22nd:    Horseman's Flea Market at Findlay University off of State route 68.  Black Swamp will have a table there.

* May 9th:   Higgins Drive in Hepburn, OH; Potluck at noon with a short meeting afterwards.  Then hitch up and drive through Amish country and stop by Mary's Market for some fresh baked goods.

Pike. If you are coming from Kenton, follow SR. 309 E to wildcat Pike also known as CR 144. If you get lost you can call Roger Jr

Greens Heritage Village at 2pm. Willy Green has everything from
a carriage display he acquired most of from right here in Findlay, Ohio.
What we here in Hancock County know as Ghost Town. He also has many
different items clear up to an old White Castle Restaurant. Just don't expect
to order any hamburgers, Sorry. Just take I-71 South to exit 100 Groveport
Road 655. Make a left on 655 and go about 3 miles to State Route 104.
Make a right on 104 and go about 5 miles to State Route 762. Turn right on
762 and Willy's place is 5 miles down on your left. The address is 10530
Thrailkill Road.

* June 13   Upper Sandusky Carriage Days

   John Hunter has set up for us to attend Upper Sandusky's Carriage
Days on June 13th. It is being held at the Wyandot County Historical
Society located on South Johnson Street. Feel free to tour the museum
or just display your carriage for all to see. The time for this event will be
announced at a later. date.

*July 19th : Play Day: Practice Dressage Test, Cones, and just driving around the farm. Good experience for the beginning driving horse, Hosted by Al & Angela Hohenbrink, D529 Road 10, Hamler, OH. (Directions: Take State Route 109 to the South edge of Hamler, Turn west on Hubbard St (also called County Road E), go one mile, then turn left on Twp Road 10, it's the second place on the right side of the road. (Call 419-274-1122 if it's been raining, may have to cancel if it's really muddy)

Carriage owners from across the state will converge on Infirmary Mound Park for a three day weekend of horse and carriage fun. Carriage clinics will be offered by nationally renowned clinician Andy Marcoux with the opportunity for one on one instruction. Participants can put what they learned to the test in the Arena Drive Trial. This is an excellent opportunity to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Infirmary Mound Park and meet other carriage enthusiasts. Spectators are encouraged

at The Plaza in Mt. Victory, Oh. Social hour
will be from 5:30 to 6:00 and dinner is at 6:00p.m. Following dinner will be our
auction. So bring something that you aren't using and bring some cash. The
proceeds go to the Clubs fund. Set up for the auction will be around 5:30. The
price is $16.00 per person and children under 10 is $6.00.
