Special thanks to Dick Cope, Galion, Ohio, for these pictures of the Galion Buggy Co.
Howard buggy works building has burnt down since the paper was published.
The Central Ohio Buggy burnt down in 1900 and was never reestablished as
noted in another picture of the ruins of the block.
A new acquisition of the Galion Historical Society. They have found an
original Galion Buggy Works Doctor's buggy. They had it out on the front lawn of
the restored Brownella Cottage for the public to see. They found it on the
internet and had to go to North Carolina to get it. The previous
owner got it in Findlay, Ohio.
They don't know what year this buggy was made, but it does have the Galion
Buggy Works nameplate on the rear.
